About TODD LOCAL IT

About Us:

Robert Todd | Owner / Operator | Technician

Initially training as an electrician, I’ve worked with computers for almost 30 years, starting as a salesperson in 1989 with Computer Action in Sydney, then studying business at TAFE and University, opening my first computer shop in 1999 in Gosford. I gained formal IT qualifications (TAFE & Industry) and worked as a technician for Dell in 2011.

I have a Diploma in Information Systems, Cisco Home and Small Business networking, and DCSE 2010/11 Laptops & Desktops certificates.

Helping people with technical problems, whether it is creating new, assisting with the operation of, or repairing existing business and home computer systems is what I enjoy the most. Helping people work with technology is what I’m best at. I have experience in all areas of computing from office and secure office environments, manufacturing environments, rural and urban. I’ve even assembled my own 3D printer and have been experimenting with different filament types.

Whatever your problem, If it’s computer related I can help with it.

Start your own Small Business:

As automation becomes more prevalent in the workforce, more people will become free to work from home doing what they love the most, or what they’re best at.

The idea of running your own small business might seem glamorous, too expensive to start, or too uncertain for some to even try.  If I could show how easy it is to start a small business someone might benefit and find a way to earn money doing what they do best.

Ask me how you can use technology at home to operate a business doing what you love to do best.
